3 mobile samsung galaxy ace

Official start of sales Samsung smartphone Galaxy Ace 3 launched late last month. According to Hotline, over this short period of time the average cost has dropped by 200 hryvnia and is now 2000 hryvnia. For this amount, the user receives a 4-inch TFT display with a resolution of 800x480 pixels, a 5 MP main and 0.3 MP front camera, a dual-core 1 GHz processor, a 1500 mAh battery, two SIM slots and Android 4.2. The characteristics are not the most outstanding, but Samsung smartphones in the mid- and low-price range are famous for their other, maximum use of the capabilities provided by hardware. Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 was no exception.

Design and ergonomics

Due to its small dimensions, the smartphone is convenient to use with one hand. The front part of the case is covered with tempered glass, in the upper and lower parts of which there are holes for the metal mesh of the speaker and the mechanical Home key, respectively. To the left of the speaker is a proximity sensor and front-camera. Under the speaker is the manufacturer’s logo and the inscription DUOS. On the sides of the Home key there are touch-sensitive Menu and Back buttons. They can only be detected when the backlight is on. In sleep mode, the keys are invisible.

A silver metal-look insert runs along the perimeter of the case. On the sides of the case there are hardware keys for volume control and power/lock, and at the ends there is a headphone jack, a recess for removing the back panel, a USB connector and a microphone hole. The side keys protrude above the body just enough so that they can be easily detected blindly, but not damaged appearance devices.

The back of the smartphone is covered with a removable panel made of thin plastic with a pattern similar to the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note II. At the top you can see two slots for the speaker, a protruding camera module and a flash LED, and below them is the Samsung inscription. Removing the panel gives access to the slot for memory cards and SIM1. To install or remove a SIM card from the second slot, you need to remove the battery (1500 mAh).

The quality of assembly and fitting of parts is traditionally high. Play and squeaks do not appear even when the case is strongly compressed.

Operating system and shell

Smartphone running in operating room Android system 4.2.2 with the proprietary TouchWiz shell and with the exception of working in landscape mode, completely repeats the capabilities of the recently reviewed Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8, including the principle of interaction between two SIM cards. Acquainted with software features Samsung smartphones running Android 4.2 can be found in the following materials: Samsung review TouchWiz, Samsung Premium Suite and Samsung Galaxy S4, as well as Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8.

Hardware platform

The hardware platform used is the Broadcom BCM21654G solution - a single-chip system manufactured using a 40-nm process technology, including two Cortex-A9 processor cores with a clock frequency of 1 GHz, graphics core VideoCore IV, 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage, of which 1.2 GB is available to the user.

The smartphone can handle video files in HD resolution without difficulty, but to watch Full HD video you will have to resort to help third party applications. Playing Full HD video from MX Player is only possible using software decoding. In this mode, the operating time of the smartphone is significantly reduced. In any case, it is unlikely that any user will have the desire to watch videos in this quality on a smartphone with a screen with a resolution of 800x480 pixels.

Broadcom processors have never had outstanding performance, unlike battery life. True, in the case of the Galaxy Ace 3 we are not talking about outstanding battery life, but simply good results. For example, in the Antutu Tester application, the smartphone scored 655 points, that is, at maximum load the user can count on 3 hours 28 minutes of work. In a mode when the functionality of the device is used rationally by the user, that is, without permanent job GPS, watching videos or listening to music, you can count on three days of work, with 20-30 minutes of calls per day and automatic synchronization of two accounts via WiFi.

In two hours Samsung tests Galaxy Ace 3 showed the following results.

To listen to music, we used a standard player, volume at 12 out of 15 possible, MP3 files with a bitrate of 320 Kbps. In reading mode, all wireless communications are disabled, including data transfer to mobile network, and the display brightness is set to 50%. Navigation includes plotting a route in Google app Navigation. The brightness is set to 50%, all data communication modules are disabled. When playing a video, the display brightness is set to 50%, the sound volume in the headphones is at level 12 out of a possible 15. The video file format is MKV, resolution 1024x432 pixels, frame rate 24. When playing a video from Youtube, the display brightness is set to 50%, the sound volume in the headphones is at 12 out of 15 possible levels.

All telephone functions: ease of dialing, support for T9, both in Latin and Cyrillic, work with two SIM cards, volume and voice quality, work perfectly. Volume conversational dynamics enough for any conditions, besides, the latest edition of TouchWiz added a separate enhancement of this parameter, but even without it you are unlikely to complain about poor hearing. The volume of the multimedia speaker and call-out is average. The sound volume in the headphones is high.

Searching for satellites takes a few seconds, during which time the smartphone detects about 20 GPS satellites, including GLONASS. There were also no difficulties with receiving a WiFi signal.

Display and cameras

The Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 smartphone is equipped with a 4-inch TFT display with a resolution of 800x480 pixels (233 PPI). It feels like a PLS matrix type, since colors are not inverted at large viewing angles and do not lose saturation. The viewing angles are limited only by the presence of an air gap between the display matrix and the glass.

The brightness of the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 display ranges from 15.4 cd/m² to 370 cd/m². The value of 50% brightness corresponds to 162 cd/m². The brightness can only be adjusted manually; there is no light sensor.
The factory calibration of the display makes it look like a device in the low price range. The color gamut slightly exceeds the sRGB value, which is not bad, but the temperature and gamma curve values show that the image is overexposed and also goes into cool tones.

The capabilities of the smartphone's 5 MP and 0.3 MP cameras are average. The main camera aperture is f/2.6, the maximum resolution of recorded video is 1280x720 pixels at 30 frames/s, mono sound and bitrate 12 Mb/s. The camera works best when taking macro photographs. Landscape photographs are somewhat spoiled by insufficient sharpness. Overall, if you don't make any special demands on the 5MP camera, you're unlikely to be disappointed.

Samsung Galaxy Ace 3- This new smartphone in the “Ice” line and was first heard about in May 2013. The device was announced on June 10, 2013, and I must admit, the phone turned out to be quite decent. But first things first.

Appearance

Externally, the smartphone seems to be a creation of past and present years. The device is similar to the Galaxy Ace 2 and at the same time looks like the premium segment of Samsung smartphones, in particular back cover The arrangement of the elements is reminiscent of that in last year's flagship - Galaxy S3. The body is made of matte, soft-touch plastic, pleasant to the touch, and its dimensions are 121.2×62.7 mm with a thickness of 9.8 mm. The battery capacity in Ice 3 is 1500 mAh.

Characteristics

It’s worth noting right away that the smartphone is available in 3 variants with indexes: GT-S7270, GT-S7272 (2 SIM cards), GT-S7275 - LTE version. The device is powered by a dual-core processor with a frequency of 1 GHz and has 1 GB random access memory. The built-in volume is 4 GB and of course there is a slot for microSD cards, which are supported up to 32 GB. It is also worth noting the presence of Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.

Screen, camera

Installed in Galaxy Ace 3 good display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, Super LCD matrix with excellent viewing angles. The main camera of the smartphone is capable of taking pictures with a resolution of 5 megapixels. There is also a flash, the placement of which, along with the speaker, is very similar to last year's flagship.

Software

The smartphone comes with Android 4.2.2 and the proprietary Touchwiz Nature UX interface. In addition, some software products from the premium smartphone segment are available in the Galaxy Ace III Samsung, including:

  • S Translator - branded translator with voice
  • S Travel - own tourist guide
  • Smart Stay - the smartphone works while you are looking at it (eye tracking)
  • S Voice is the famous “Hello Galaxy” application that understands Russian
  • Easy Mode - simplified desktop mode.

What I liked

I liked everything, I’ve been using it recently, but nothing is buggy. Thank you for the good phone.

What I didn't like

The SD card does not work well, the phone gets scratched quickly, is constantly glitching, Wi-Fi works poorly, there is little memory, there are no headphones included, a lot of unnecessary applications have been downloaded. (And that’s not all, there are a lot of them)

What I liked

Android,3G,Wi-Fi,GPS,GLONASS.

What I didn't like

The charge lasts for exactly 2 days, it takes a long time to charge.
The camera does not capture sharpness when the hand shakes.
When you dial a number, when you quickly press one key, the distraction is triggered, you have to press cancel and redial the number. (Maybe this can be changed in the settings.

What I liked

Nothing special was noticed

What I didn't like

The main thing is that there is only one slot for a SIM card and external additional memory. So it's either SIM or memory. And most importantly, the SIM CARD MUST BE MINI! That is, it is no longer possible to remove the cut SIM card and insert it into another device. During the sale, the manager modestly kept silent about this.

What I liked

As always

What I didn't like

Everything else is shortcomings!!! Terrible model!!! The charge lasts for a day!!! Very inconvenient to use!!! Small font when typing text messages!!! Bad camera!!! Freezes!!! Eats up energy!!! Slow switching!!! In general, the Android system does not justify itself. The same can be said about tablets on this system. I do not recommend buying this phone. For the same money (115,000 drams - almost 400 dollars) you can buy a Samsung wave - cool design, easy to use: practically no drawbacks! I just don't want to pick up the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 GT-S7270. I’ve been using it for a little over a week, but I’m already selecting a new device, because I simply don’t have enough nerves to “communicate” with it!!!

What I liked

There are practically NO advantages!!!

What I didn't like

slippery, the lock button on the side is out of touch, and it’s also recessed and it’s not clear whether you pressed it or didn’t press it because of it, at first I rebooted the phone, after a week of rage I didn’t know how to unlock it, it turns out I only use it for locking, I installed Yandex navigator when I opened it The application seems to be ok, as soon as you use it - the white canvas p.s. with Yandex cards works, the battery lasts for a day.

What I liked

very fast compared to sony miro phone spy everything is clear with miro problems the camera is good, the player is loud, and maybe the headphones are good. PHILIPS, NO glitches.

What I didn't like

1. If it loses its coverage area and can no longer find it, it must be rebooted. 2. If you call a number that you found in your contacts, you cannot decide for yourself which SIM card to call from; the phone in this case does not give you a choice. For the choice to appear, you must find desired number in contacts, call, immediately call, and only after that it becomes possible to choose which SIM card to call this number from. I think this is a specific bug. 3.If you want to assign a specific ringtone to a specific contact, this will not always work. As far as I understand, if a contact is recorded on one of the SIM cards, when you try to assign a ringtone to it, this contact will not appear in the contact list. Also a mistake.

What I liked

The device for your money

What I didn't like

The network does not receive anything at all, I only hear fragments of phrases, the screen does not respond well to touch

What I liked

What I didn't like

The battery runs out quickly, the front camera (well, in general it will do, because I rarely use it)

What I liked

Android 4.2.2, Camera, processor

What I didn't like

My phone is still 4 days old, and the side button has already started to sink a little. The downside is that the smartphone is slow!

What I liked

I liked the phone. The battery is good, everything seems to be as it should be. Of course it’s harder to use than an iPhone.

What I didn't like

small case, does not include a cooler, the video card is not powerful, this is explained by the fact that there is no fan and it itself is small, since large video cards are not included in the phone, as a result of this, games slow down and the menu glitches when you press the screen, small stains

What I liked

big buttons, I like the updated java, beautiful design, small size, large screen, malachite box, very loud and singing

What I didn't like

The Broadcom processor, custom firmware, such as CM, will not be released for it anytime soon, sometimes it glitches very badly, even to the point of rebooting, the glass, the back cover, as well as the mechanical home button are quickly scratched, and the glossy bezel also cracks.

What I liked

Well-built, Android, the camera takes very decent pictures for its 5 megapixels, a good four-inch display, a resolution of 480x800 pixels.

What I didn't like

The ringing sound is VERY quiet!!! I can’t hear the phone from my purse or from the next room when the doors are open - even though the volume is turned up to maximum.

What I liked

The video is good, user-friendly interface.

What I didn't like

Glitchy. I rebooted several times, Chrome doesn't work well (black squares jump around the screen), YouTube messed up the scroll bar somewhere (in full screen mode), freezes, etc. I hope the update will solve at least some of the problems.
And one more thing - glitches affect convenience, but do not make the use of certain functions impossible.
The photo works like a C grade, what especially killed it was the lack of muting the shutter sound (you can’t take pictures in a store anymore).

What I liked

Nice, new, modern

What I didn't like

1. Sometimes freezes
2. The return home button rarely works (in my opinion, it generally has a separate algorithm of operation, different from logic...)
3. Contact lists are all on a black background. And there is no way to change this(
4. Free built-in memory 1(!) GB. And EVERYTHING you download, install, cache (for example, music on VK) clogs it. It simply does not see the memory card. As a result, when clogged internal memory You won't even open the gallery...

What I liked

1. Ergonomic 2. Nice design 3. Good camera

What I didn't like

1) Either the screen lacks sensitivity, or the processor is weak, there is not enough smoothness, or all androids are like this. Scrolling is slightly jerky, screen response is slightly sluggish.
2) The battery lasts two days without heavy load.
3) Background noise when talking using a headset.
4)No light sensor
5)Large font in Android. I set it to small in the settings, but it is still large for me.
6) Lots of settings, confusing menus. The translation is not very obvious in some places. Duplicate Google settings.
7) There is not enough internal memory. Not everything can be transferred to the card.

The 3rd generation Ace was officially presented in the summer of 2013, and its sales on the domestic market started in the fall. As with almost all other similar devices from this manufacturing company, potential buyers were offered modifications with one and two SIM cards to choose from. Interesting feature The new product was the desire of the developers to ensure its affordability.

Appearance

Despite the constant criticism received by South Korean designers related to the almost identical exterior of all Samsung phones, the new product received the same appearance as the company’s other smartphones. More specifically, the device is made in the shape of a classic rectangle with rounded corners. The power and on button is installed on the right side, and is located on the left side. At the top and bottom, respectively, there is a jack for standard headphones and a port for connecting the gadget to other devices. The only significant and incomprehensible innovation, compared to the previous generation of the model, was the complication of access to the slot for installing additional memory - from now on, to replace the card you need to remove the cover. The weight of the smartphone was 115 grams.

Screen

The display can be called one of the main advantages Samsung phone Galaxy Ace 3. Screen characteristics have changed slightly compared to the previous version. In particular, the diagonal size increased by 0.2 inches and reached 4 inches. The resolution remains the same - 480x800 pixels. As a result, the image density has dropped to 233 dots per inch. Be that as it may, it is impossible to visually notice these deteriorations. The matrix can be called quite good: its viewing angles are quite wide, and color rendition is natural. As evidenced by the reviews left by the owners of the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3, the only drawback of the smartphone display is the not very high brightness of the backlight, which affects the image quality under the influence of direct sunlight. Be that as it may, the comfort when working with the screen does not cause any particular complaints. As for the sensitivity of the sensor, it reacts quite quickly to user commands.

Specifications

The South Korean manufacturing company installs rather unusual chips on phones from the Ace line that are not found anywhere else. This model was no exception. It is built on the Broadcom BCM-21664 platform. The processor consists of two cores, each of which operates at a frequency of 1 GHz. The amount of RAM was 1 GB. As for the internal storage, its capacity is 4 GB. As noted above, users can install an additional memory card.

Performance

Regarding the performance of the device, two impressions may arise. The basic parameters and display resolution are not enough to play Full HD videos. On the other hand, the interface works without much delay. There are no problems with scaling pages or scrolling them in an Internet browser. Even relatively heavy games running on the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 smartphone do not slow down.

Autonomous operation

The smartphone is equipped with a 1500 mAh capacity, borrowed from the previous modification. A full charge is enough for 4 hours and 20 minutes of playing HD videos with the highest backlight brightness. This is significantly less compared to the second generation. According to experts, the increased power consumption is due to the more powerful processor installed on the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3, as well as its higher clock frequency. In other words, the device can be called a telephone, which must be kept close to the outlet. If you do not use the device intensively, then a full battery charge will last for a whole day, but if you actively use the Internet and heavy applications, it will run out in a few hours.

Camera

The Ace 3 model is equipped with a main camera with a five megapixel matrix. It cannot surprise you with its capabilities in terms of creating high-quality images. Photos look about the same as other mid-range camera devices. Macro photography in general can be called very good. At the same time, if there is large quantities small objects, problems associated with the device become obvious. The device cannot cope with noise in the pictures.

Results

In general, the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 smartphone can be called a typical workhorse with acceptable functionality and a price corresponding to its capabilities. The developers of the device placed the main emphasis on the ratio of price and quality. As for the main disadvantages, there are not very many of them. First of all, they are associated with the familiar design of the device, as well as with the materials that make up the case that get dirty quite quickly. This applies to both the display and the back, which instantly become covered with dust.

(at the start of sales the recommended price will be 2399 UAH) is notable primarily for the latest version of the operating system. At the time of release, the device works under Android control 4.2, so this is the most inexpensive smartphone with this OS version at the time of preparation of the review. A special feature of the model is that it comes to the market in two versions at once - with support for two SIM cards (which will definitely have a positive impact on its popularity at least in Ukraine, where dual SIMs usually top the bestseller lists) and with support for LTE, but only one SIM card (the latter is not relevant for our country). The rest of the device is ordinary: it has a 4-inch TFT screen with a resolution of 480x800 pixels, a 5-megapixel camera, a dual-core, but not the most productive processor, and 1 GB of RAM. Let's see how interesting this model is against the background of competitors that have already entered the market HTC Desire X, Sony Xperia J and LG Optimus L5 II and LG Optimus L7 II.

Specifications

Exactly a year ago, at the time of the release of the predecessor of this model, the Galaxy Ace 2, the presence of a dual-core processor in it looked like an attraction of unprecedented generosity in price category about 3000 UAH. And the only significant drawback was the already outdated version of the OS - Android 2.3. With the Galaxy Ace 3 the situation is the opposite - it cannot be called such a nimble device (although now it belongs to an even more budget class). At the same time, it already runs Android 4.2.2 and has the latest version of the Samsung TouchWiz interface, the functionality of which, compared to older models, is, of course, considerably reduced. However, there are still things like S Translator, smart sleep mode and gesture controls, and a shiny lock screen that just looks beautiful. For a smartphone for that kind of money, this is already not bad. The battery capacity of the device is 1500 mAh.

Appearance

Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 looks like a cross between its predecessor, as well as the Galaxy S Duos and Galaxy S III mini. Its case thickness is almost 10 mm, like the S III mini, but compared to the current flagship it seems quite thick. The Ace 2 was even larger, 10.5 mm, although it didn’t seem too bulky at the time.

Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 next to Samsung Galaxy S4

The body is covered with the same plastic that was used in both the S III and the S III mini - it looks much more noble than the textured plastic in the Ace 2. From the front panel to the arrangement of keys and connectors on the body, this is a typical Samsung device. It fits well in the hand. However, it seems to me that 4-inch little ones (this is how the device is perceived after a couple of months in a row I held smartphones with diagonals from 4.5 inches to 6.3 inches in my hands) cannot lie badly.

Perhaps the only atypical point is that the smartphone uses two microSIM cards - this is unusual for Samsung devices middle level.

In the video below you can see the smartphone in action, and also see the speed of the interface.

Video review of Samsung Galaxy Ace 3

For those who don’t want to watch the video, below are screenshots of the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 interface. By the way, a pleasant surprise for me was that when roaming, the interface automatically displays two clocks on the lock screen - with local and home time. This function did not appear yesterday, of course, but it’s nice to see it in an almost budget device.

Screen

Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 is equipped with a TFT display. As usual for similar displays in Samsung smartphones, it has excellent viewing angles and fairly deep colors, although it is noticeably dimmer than the flashy SAMOLED. At the same time, it has an excessively cold color temperature, inaccurate color reproduction with a strong blue bias, low maximum brightness and not very deep and dark blacks. Despite the last drawback, the smartphone screen does not fade under the sun to an unreadable state. And problems with color rendering do not make it critically unpleasant for the eyes, as is sometimes the case with cheap Chinese smartphones with IPS matrices that like to turn yellow and green. In my opinion, he is a solid four.

Samsung Galaxy S4 320 0
Sony Xperia T 421 0.28 1503:1
iPhone 4S 434 0.53 818:1

Perhaps the most unpleasant aspect of the Galaxy Ace 3's screen is the lack of auto-backlight. But in this price category this is a common occurrence, so you can only complain about the small purchase budget.

Competitors

At the time of release, the competitors of the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 will be devices such as the LG Optimus L7 II (and its dual-sim version), as well as the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2. The latter should cost a little more, but with equal inputs (it is second only to Android version, although the differences between Android 4.1 and 4.2 are not so critical) Xcover 2 seems more interesting, as it is housed in an IP67-rated case. In fact, Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 belongs to the same class as Sony Xperia J and LG Optimus L5 II. Only those managed to enter the market a couple of months earlier and dropped significantly in price. The Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 has all the trump cards ahead of them: a dual-core processor with higher performance, a more advanced interface, and the latest Android 4.2.2. Except that in appearance, compared to these two models, despite successful attempts to prettify himself, he still looks like an ugly duckling. However, as soon as the price drops to the level of its competitors in a couple of months, the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 will turn into a beautiful swan.

But perhaps the closest competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 is a smartphone HTC Desire X. It has identical characteristics. And the question of choice here will lie in the plane of sympathy for HTC or Samsung and sympathy for their interfaces. Although, in my opinion, HTC smartphone has a more interesting body, while TouchWiz outperforms Sense in terms of convenience.

Do not forget that in addition to branded devices, second-tier smartphones are also widely represented on the market in this price category. For 2,400 UAH you can buy a Fly IQ446 Magic smartphone with a quad-core processor and a 4.5-inch HD display (and after a while the company will probably introduce an even fresher and more interesting model in the same category). IconBIT offers its Mercury X with two batteries included for about the same money.

Autonomy and performance

The smartphone is equipped with a 1500 mAh battery. As the experience of using the Samsung Galaxy S III mini smartphone has shown, this may be quite enough for normal autonomy of the smartphone. But alas, this is not the case with the Galaxy Ace 3. With average intensity of use, the device runs out of steam in a day, and during the night, with Wi-Fi turned on, it gets so low that the alarm doesn’t go off in the morning. So you will have to charge the Ace 3 daily. And if you are an active smartphone user, then twice. However, in the battery test AnTuTu smartphone showed a good result - 523 points (discharged by 81% in almost 3 hours).

The performance of the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 should be assessed based on the purchase budget and the attitude of second-tier manufacturers towards smartphones. Thus, for its price category and for an A-brand smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 demonstrates a high result. The 3DMark test says that for a device with such characteristics the scores are an excellent result (2625 in Ice Storm). At the same time, there are all sorts of Fly smartphones, which, of course, beat him in all respects. Objectively, you can’t call the Galaxy Ace 3 a brake, while this word very fairly and accurately describes the work with the Sony Xperia J and LG Optimus L5 II. However, for a person accustomed to more advanced smartphones, the slowness of the interface will be noticeable to the naked eye.

Camera

The smartphone is equipped with a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, flash and the ability to record video in HD resolution. Quite an expected solution for the category to which the device belongs. If we had a “Chinese” in front of us, then for the same money we would have found an 8-megapixel camera on its body. True, it would most likely shoot at the same level as the camera installed in the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3. Examples of pictures can be seen in the original resolution in a special gallery on Torba or in the gallery below. Most of the test photos were taken in gloomy London weather and practically on the move, and for this I ask for an immediate discount. On sunny days, the pictures turn out a little better.

I also give an example of a video shot Samsung camera Galaxy Ace 3.

Bottom line

Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 belongs to that small group of smartphones that is difficult to praise or scold for anything. A normal smartphone for the money - perhaps that’s the only way I can characterize it. Like a good student, he is acceptable in all respects and yet not a star in anything. The smartphone is available in two versions, for one and two SIM cards, and has the latest version of the OS - this is very good. At the same time, he is predictable in all respects and there is nothing to scold him for. You can’t even say that “it should be cheaper” or something should be better or could be worse, everything exactly and exactly corresponds to how much money is being asked for it. If you like the Samsung interface and the appearance of their devices, and your budget is limited to a little over two thousand hryvnia, then you can take the Galaxy Ace 3; if you don’t like Samsung, then you can immediately take the HTC Desire X or LG Optimus L7 II. If you want to play it safe, you can add 200 UAH to your budget and buy a Samung Galaxy Xcover 2.

3 reasons to buy Samsung Galaxy Ace 3:

  • Android 4.2;
  • “smart” screen backlight;
  • good price/feature ratio for a branded device;

2 reasons not to buy Samsung Galaxy Ace 3:

  • The origin of the smartphone is not important to you (a non-branded device in the same price category will have higher performance and a larger screen);
  • I want a smartphone with a bigger screen.
