Installation

If your tablet is already handheld and has custom firmware installed on it, then immediately go to the last section “Installing CM 11”. Otherwise, perform the following steps:

1. Download the required version CM 11 / Android 4.4 and copy it along with the Google applications package to the root folder of the tablet (just do not put these files in subfolders).

2. Install Odin on your computer.

3. Launch Odin on your computer and turn off the Galaxy Tab 2.

4. Start the tablet in download mode (hold the power button together with the volume down and Home button for 10 seconds).

5. Connect the tablet to the computer and Odin should detect it - in the upper left corner you will see the inscription ID: COM on a yellow background.

6. Click on the PDA and find the CWM file that matches the build number of your device and check the ‘auto reboot’ box. Let's not touch anything else!

7. Reboot the tablet in recovery mode (power button, volume down and Home). Let's move on to the next part of the tutorial.

8. Now we are in recovery mode, select the “ backup and restore” and click “backup”.

9. As soon as backup done, select “wipe data/factory reset”.

10. Go to the advanced settings “advanced” and select “wipe cache partition” and “wipe dalvik cache”.

11. Select installation from the SD card - install zip from sdcard ->zip from internal storage.

12. Find and select the CyanogenMod 11 / Android 4.4 file.

14. Return to the main menu and reboot the device.

Reboot recovery - advanced -> Reboot recovery
