But it’s not at all necessary to use it - it doesn’t have much functionality: change the frequency (50 and 60 Hz) and enable/disable something called IPM.

In addition to this utility from Genius, the disk contains the ArcSoft WebCam Companion program, serial number for which it is located on the back of the envelope. The functionality of this utility is quite simple. It allows you to record and edit videos, take pictures, and the main menu is represented by three buttons: “Capture”, “Funny frame”, “Edit”.
